Two more weeks of NFL football down! last week, Larry Fitzgerald broke a record and no one noticed, the Patriots continued to roll and the Browns were back.
This week the Browns are no longer back, the Colts have the best O-Line in the NFL, and the Bills aren't a fluke? The first 5 weeks of the NFL season have been about as rocky and unpredictable as we would expect this time of year. It has also made for some fun (and not so fun) football games overall! We also learned that everyone is bad and the best teams in the league are mediocre at best. To top that, the worst teams are historically bad (I'm looking at you Bengals). Anyway, here's the Power Rankings after Week 5 in the NFL this week!
Here's my reasoning for every ranking in one long sentence: The Pats are still undefeated, the Saints aren't broken without Brees, the Packers have a run game and defense, the Chiefs lost (plus Mahomes may be hurt), Russell Wilson is an MVP candidate, the 49ers defense is back, the Bills aren't losing, the Colts beat the Chiefs, the Cowboys lost to two good teams, Lamar Jackson looks slow, the Texan's line still can't protect Deshaun, the Bears lost to the Raiders, Kirk Cousins beat a bad team, the Rams are 0-2 over the last two weeks, I still don't know who the Eagles are, McCaffrey is the most dominant back of this generation, the Chargers are losing in Charger ways, the Lions look mediocre, Minshew Magic has worn off, Mariota is not good anymore, everyone owes Jon Gruden an apology, Bruce Ariens successfully whispered in Jamies's ear, Danny Dimes looks like a rookie, the Falcons are flat out bad, the Browns are a dumpster fire, the Steelers don't have a working cart, the Broncos are still only 1-4, the Cardinals just won their first game, the Jets have mono, the Dolphins are dead, the Redskins are an embarrassment, and the Bengals have the worst defense of all time.
You're welcome. See you in two weeks. Stay safe y'all.
